Making changes like correcting and editing your own paper is hard to do. you breeze over the things that need to be changed. Having someone else other than yourself edit your paper is the best if you were a good essay. I would rather have two sets of eyes looking at a paper then just my eyes. I think it’s even nice to have an editing group where we all look at each other because everyone has good feedback and everyone’s feedback is different. I never thought that I had the right to edit someones writing but I learned some methods on how to peer edit in this class. I think editing other’s papers helped me write my paper because if I notice something in someone’s paper it will make me think and want to go back to my paper and see if I need to fix that in my paper. I think it is easier to pick out other’s mistakes instead of your own mistakes.
