Learning Outcome #5 and 6

In this English class this semester, our class used the book “A Little Seagull.” This book included lots of information on how to properly MLA format essays and cite sources correctly. Every person wants credit for what they have done and if quotes are not cited right then that person is not getting the credit that they deserve and should have. If you’re not giving someone the proper credit that they deserve then technically that is taking someone’s work without them knowing and that is considered plagiarism. Every paper has a word cited page at the end of an essay saying were they going all of there quotes and information and that is very important to have. I think reading an article that has links or information on where they got their facts makes the reader trust them more because why do readers want to trust something that doest have information on where they got their facts. I never understand what MLA format was until this class. It is a very important step with finishing a paper. Everything on the MLA format list needs to be done to make your essay perfect.
