I was very proud of my first essay. Writing has always been a struggle for me, but while being in this class I have gotten better I think with my writing. I always know what I want to write but it is hard for me to get it on paper. My biggest challenge is adding words that actually sound correct and are not just added for the word count. I did go get help at SASC for writing my papers and even just my blogs and they did help me a lot with how to add more “fluff” to my papers. The second thing that I need to work on is my thesis. I’m not the best at writing them. I feel that having a stronger thesis will improve my paper. I’m not the best at asking people for help but with this I know my paper will be better so taking with people in SASC. I also can have a friend, roommate for even my brother read it over. lastly, are my transition sentences. While going over my peer reviews, they did mention that they were a little weak. Most times I just jump into the next thing sometimes even without transition sentences.
